The Low Jack Advanced Underpinning System has been developed as a result of an extensive research and development program undertaken over the past 9 years. This system, designed to rectify housing subsidence, is considered by many in the construction industry to be the best underpinning system for housing yet developed.
Underpinning piles are jacked to refusal using the dead load of the structure to mobilise sufficient resistance to equal the working load of the pile plus its factor of safety. Jacked piles for underpinning works can be installed to S.W.L. in excess of 200KN in headroom as low as 1.8 m
Each pile and support bracket is statically load tested as it is installed.
When faced with underpinning options, Home Owners will often prefer the Low Jack Advanced Underpinning System.... Why? Because there is no heavy construction equipment involved in the process; there is minimal excavation, no noise is generated during remedial work and there is considerable savings over traditional underpinning methods.
